Pilot Knoll Park is a good sized park and one of our favorites on Lake Lewisville. It is located on the western side of the lake in the town of Highland Village. There are two sides to the park. One side is the large day use area with the boat ramp. The other side is for camping and RV-ing.
The park has plenty to do including horseshoes, volleyball, swim areas, and hiking trails. There are plenty of restrooms in the park as well.
There are two hiking and equestrian trails here: Poindexter and Hickory Creek Trail Equestrian Trails.
Pilot Knoll Park is a beautiful park bordering Lake Lewisville in Highland Village. This park is 65 to 85 acres (depending on the water level) and is perfect for nature lovers, campers, hikers, horseback riders, and anyone who likes spending time outdoors.
